Vegan french toast
Ingredients:
- 140 ml plant based milk
- 2 tbsp egg replacement
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 1 tsp oil
- 100 ml plant based milk
- Vegan chocolate
- Peanuts and almonds ground (pulsed in the grinder few times)
Cooking instructions:
- Mix all ingredients in a deep bowl.
- Heat up a non-stick pan on medium heat.
- Dip the bread slices in the eggless mixture covering all sides.
- Fry the bread slices making sure the first side is completely brown before flipping it.
- Serve with your favorite toppings.
The chocolate filled version:
- Put few squares of vegan chocolate between 2 pieces of bread.
- follow the previous steps for the normal french toast or use only plant based milk.
- Cover with the nut mixture and fry until brown on both sides.
