Hummus recipe
Ingredients:
- 400 g soaked & boiled chickpeas
- 1/2 tsp baking soda for boiling
- 1 small garlic clove
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp tahini paste
- 100 ml water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp citric acid
- 1/2 Capsicum
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to your taste (1/4 tsp)
Cooking Instructions:
- Soak 400 g of organic chickpeas in water for 8 hours or overnight.
- Rinse the chickpeas and boil them in enough water till completely soft adding 1/2 tsp soda half way.
- Remove chickpea skin using cold water.
- Add all hummus ingredients into a high speed mixer and run till smooth and creamy.
- prepare Dagga by adding all ingredients in a food processor or hand blender.
- Serve hummus with Dagga, whole chickpeas, sumac and olive oil
